I have read a lot of this author but this book is forgettable. The bottom line for me is that the book functions well as a satire of the fact that human beings value connections with other humans. The author seems to feel that good people never put work first. I feel like I need to give this review in the context of its predecessor "The Devil Wears Prada," which was good.
